How can one be against the death penalty and pro imprisonment? Is imprisonment not torture? Being locked on a room with no way to get out sounds like torture to me. Freedom means being able to do basically what you will. Being in prison takes that freedom away form you. Is that not a form of torture?

I don’t know.

Its just a random thought.

I am not totally for the war in the Middle East but if we bring all of our troops home right now then we will really be between a rock and a hard place with all of the jobless people that would be out there. And besides they are getting paid a lot more being over there than they are being stationed here.

Was asked about my religion last night and when I said I am an atheist I was told that they were going to have to fix that for me. Like it is bad, me being an atheist. I mean come on its not like I am out there trying to convert anyone like the bible thumper’s are. I mean hell unless I tell someone that I am atheist no one ever knows it. I try to keep it to my self unless I am talking to someone that knows my beliefs on the subject.

Just checked my email for the first time in about 3 weeks. Deleted over 400 messages. Damn I need to check my email more often.

O.K. this goes to both sides of the argument.

Now that I got that off of my chest.

Gun Activist’s

I am all for letting people have guns of any size, big or small. But come on people what the hell do you need a fully automatic rifle or pistol for? If you need to shoot faster than you can pull the damn trigger then you are having a bigger problem than the gun is going to help you with O.K. I do not see any problem with having a gun with a magazine in it that will hold even 1000 rounds or more (good luck carrying it with that much weight under the damn thing).

Then there is having a gun that will shoot 1000’s of yards. What the hell people most of us can’t even see that far unless we have a x50 scope on the thing, and even then with no wind you would have to shoot way over the top of the target and any movement of the gun at all would throw off the bullet path so far that you would never hit what you were aiming at anyway.

Now for FMJ bullets. What the hell do we need those for anyway. The only reason they are even still around is because NATO or the Geneva Convention (Witch I think both are a joke) will only let us use them in combat because they do not do the damage that a hollow point or soft point will.

So you gun activist get your heads out of your asses and start thinking about what you are saying. One other thing on this subject is- we don’t need to be preached to if we are on the side of the second amendment O.K. You need to be talking to the people that are against guns. Damn that pisses me off.

Anti-Gun activist’s

First and foremost : guns do not kill people, people kill people. The gun does not fire unless the trigger is pulled O.K. Plain and simple. Oh, a gun can fire even if there is no one pulling the trigger. BUT and its a big BUT: if the gun goes off and the trigger was not pulled either it was dropped and jarred pretty hard or the gun was not safe enough to be loaded anyway.

Why the hell do you think that I am not able to have a gun with out killing someone? I have been around guns all my life and you are wanting to take them away from me. What the hell. Let me take away your damn car. It is more likely that you will hit someone with your car and kill them than it is for me to shoot someone. I do not see why you think that I can not control my self when I have a gun in my hand.

If you get rid of my guns we need to get rid of doctors too, they kill more people each year because they fucked up than people being shot to death.

So people on both sides of this argument get your heads out of your asses. Take a step back and look at the other side for once and actually look and see where the other side is coming from. Lets meet in the middle and then we all can enjoy ourselves again.
